In July 2022, over 80 candidates qualified to run for office in the upcoming November Election across Orleans, East Baton Rouge and Lafayette Parish. After community input, we sent surveys to each of them. Each race, from the school board to clerks of court to US senate. We asked questions ranging from housing security to supporting FIP mentorship, tackling climate change to ending qualified immunity, and much more. Below you’ll find links to each race we’ve collected survey responses from thus far and invite you to read through and get a better picture of where each of these candidates vying for your vote stands on the issues that most impact our community.
