Devin Davis

Director of Political Operations

Devin Davis is Director of Political Operations of Voters Organized to Educate. He joined Voters Organized in 2021 as the organization’s first Political Coordinator, and in June 2022 was promoted to lead the new Political Operations team.

As a native of the Greater New Orleans area, Devin has witnessed firsthand how devastating the prison industrial complex, mass incarceration and failed policies have been to our people and communities.

This lived experience propelled him into the work of organizing as a teenager. He began building power within communities by mobilizing voters while widening the understanding around intersectional discourse. Devin has since done this in communities across the country with a particular focus on uplifting and empowering dispirit communities of color and rural working-class communities towards building lasting and transformative coalitions.

A graduate of Prescott College located in central Arizona, Devin graduated with a BA in Constitutional Law & Public Policy and Urban Planning & Sustainability in December 2019, and in December 2020 graduated with his MA in Social Justice and Community Organizing. Upon graduating in 2020, he moved back home to Louisiana where he’s continued the work of elevating the voices of the working class, holding politicians accountable, and fighting for racial, environmental, and economic justice across our state.
