The state of Louisiana is at a crossroads. Whether it be the continued proliferation of mass incarceration and unchecked policing, our failed education system, a rapidly changing climate, or the cost of quality living moving increasingly out of reach for most Louisianans, both major political parties have failed to bring forward meaningful community-centered solutions to address the many growing crisis of our time.
